The Gorilla Press is a prop that we have been using in various training companies for the better part of 17 years. This prop was based off an incident one of our instructors had with a patient crushed in a hydraulic press. This prop uses a 12’’x 1’’x3’’ piece of steel tube as a consumable piece of metal to be cut. This prop is designed to show metal cutting, relief cuts, lifting or spreading using a wide variety of lifting or spreading tools.

The nice thing about the Gorilla Press Prop is that it is small and light enough to put on a work bench or it can be placed in a confined space or at height to make the evolution even more challenging to rescuers.
