The Ellis Prop
This prop is the flag ship of RSI and was the first prop that we put on the market under the Rescue Squad Ironworks banner. The Ellis Prop is a forcible entry prop that simulates cutting a hockey puck style lock. These locks are common on roll down gates, storage facilities, tractor trailers, service vehicles, etc. and they are becoming more and more common every day.
This prop is realistic, repeatable, and cost effective, this prop allows instructors to train firefighters with extreme efficiency.
The Ellis Prop is laser cut, laser welded, and powder coated to meet the highest levels of manufacturing.
The Ellis Prop uses a consumable that can be ordered through RSI or can be locally sourced.
The prop is named after Pittsburgh Firefighter James Ellis. I had the humbling opportunity to teach with Jimmy for years. Jimmy was the very definition of a Firemen’s Firemen. Jimmy Passed away on July 13th 2022. His legacy lives on and he will forever be missed.
