This was the first prop that I ever made 20+ yrs ago. I was teaching for a few different fire schools and my own training company in the early 2000s and I was going through padlocks like crazy trying to teach students how to break padlocks with an axe and Halligan. I came up with the idea to drill holes through the lock body and the shackle and then put a roofing nail through the two, this would allow me to get multiple reps out of each lock. I used this method for about a year before I had my first prop machined. The prop has taken many different shapes over the years, but the same quality is there. Fully machined, hardened, and anodized black the OG prop is extremely rugged and built to last.

The OG prop has two small set screws in the body of the lock that create friction that must be overcome when the lock is forced. Great for teaching conventional forcible entry of a padlock with a set of irons or a duckbill lock breaker.
